NEW YORK, September 13, 2021 – Brown Rudnick LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has achieved Mansfield Certification for the second year in a row. As one of 118 leading law firms to achieve Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification, Brown Rudnick demonstrates a steadfast commitment to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession.
The firm signed on for Mansfield Rule 4.0 in July 2020, renewing its commitment to participate in the Diversity Lab Mansfield Rule certification process which measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, promotions to partner, formal client pitch opportunities, and senior lateral positions.
“Achieving Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification is a pivotal accomplishment in our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts as it affirms that the changes we continue to make and the standards we hold ourselves to are achieving meaningful results,” said Bill Baldiga, CEO of Brown Rudnick. “This is another step forward as we remain dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within our firm. We will continue to reflect on and refine our processes to recruit, retain, and promote talent to ensure that our firm celebrates diversity in all forms.”
