Alvin B. Carter III, an Associate in Brown Rudnick's Corporate Practice Group, was spotlighted in the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) One Boston Day campaign. Every year, One Boston Day is recognized on April 15 to celebrate the resiliency, generosity, and strength demonstrated by the people of Boston and those around the world in response to the 2013 marathon tragedy.

This year, Mayor Kim Janey encouraged organizations and individuals to take part in a citywide social media campaign to express what One Boston Day means to them and share an act of kindness they plan to do in celebration of One Boston Day. Alvin was spotlighted in the BBA’s social media campaign highlighting #OneBostonDay. Alvin made a commitment to increase his support of local artists and small businesses by buying local artwork and attending virtual concerts.

This recognition follows Alvin being highlighted in BBA’s Spotlight Series "Get to Know Boston's Rising Stars." Alvin has also been named a "Top 40 under 40" by the National Black Lawyers and he was named to the Lawyers of Color's "Hot List 2020." Alvin advises private and public company clients in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance, entity formation, asset assignments, and state and federal securities compliance.
