Intellectual Property


Dr. Symin Charpentier is a Law Clerk in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. As a former clinical pharmacist and pharmacy manager, Dr. Charpentier has experience in several dimensions of pharmacy practice as well as pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmacy strategic services.

Dr. Charpentier is especially experienced in military and veteran health. Before joining Brown Rudnick, Dr. Charpentier was a clinical pharmacist provider for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He prescribed, monitored, and evaluated medications for over 300 patients using evidence-based practice and managed pharmacoeconomic and nonformulary medication data locally and regionally. Prior to that, Dr. Charpentier was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy’s Medical Service Corps, during which time he was an expert witness before the Marine Corps Installations East Court-Martial.
