AREA OF PRACTICE
Lindsay Wilson has a wide array of experience in all facets of real estate law, including the acquisition, development, financing, zoning and permitting of office, retail, resort and residential real estate projects. He has significant experience in the representation of landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial leasing and subleasing transactions throughout the United States, as well as representation of both borrowers and financial institutions with respect to both healthy and distressed real estate financing. Lindsay's practice also includes advising institutional and private owners, investors and developers of real estate with respect to deal structuring, private equity investment and general corporate matters.
In addition to practicing at several leading law firms over the past 20 plus years, Lindsay served in senior management and as general counsel to a New England-based real estate development company, where his responsibilities included overseeing the permitting of a large-scale mixed use development, developing a "traditional neighborhood designed" residential subdivision and managing both litigation and transactional outside counsel.
Real estate counsel to a national self-storage company in connection with single and portfolio acquisitions across the United States.
Counsel to receiver of federal court-appointed receiver of 600,000 square foot portfolio of 9 industrial and flex properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, including supervision of asset stabilization, property management and portfolio disposition.
Represented CMBS special servicers and mortgage REITs in connection with approximately $50,000,000 of commercial loan workouts, foreclosures and dispositions of retail, office and hotel properties located throughout New England.
Counsel to national real estate private equity firm with respect to acquisitions, dispositions and leasing of large-scale real estate portfolios in the Northeast United States.
Represented national real estate development company with respect to its joint venture with an international resort/hotel chain in a $200,000,000 residential/resort development project.
Counsel to publicly traded mutual fund company in connection with more than $500,000,000 of investments in securitized real estate-backed commercial loan portfolios.
