Michael Davis handles commercial real estate matters regionally and nationally, including conveyances, retail and office leasing, permitting, construction, and development. Michael also represents lenders and borrowers in real estate-based and asset-based loan transactions, loan restructurings, workouts, and foreclosures in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He frequently advises out-of-state counsel on local bank and commercial regulation matters.

Michael was lead guitarist in an award-winning blues band. When not practicing law or the guitar, he can be found in his garage restoring an old British sports car.


Handles shopping center leases throughout the country on behalf of national and regional retail tenants.

Represents wireless telecommunications companies in connection with regional site leasing, permitting, and related real estate matters.

Serves as rental development loan counsel to Rhode Island Housing, the local state entity which provides construction and rehabilitation financing and federal tax credits for low and moderate income, multi-family housing and assisted living facilities.

Represents restaurants, banks and physician organizations in regional commercial leasing, subleasing, lease disputes, and lease disposition matters.

Served as lender’s counsel in a series of multi-state, conduit lease financing transactions involving a national drug store chain.
