International Disputes


Joanna Curtis is an associate in the International Disputes group.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Joanna was an associate at Ashurst LLP in London. Joanna has broad experience advising on complex and high value disputes across a number of disciplines, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and regulatory investigations. She has worked with clients in multiple sectors, including financial institutions and corporates. Highlights of her experience include representing a UK PLC in an arbitration over the termination of a contract after the contractual counterparty was struck off and subsequently restored to the register, and acting for an employee of a large UK bank in respect of investigations by the FCA and the US Department of Justice into possible misconduct arising from foreign exchange transactions. Joanna speaks Russian and Spanish and has spent time studying in Moscow and working in Madrid.
