Allegra Chan is an Associate in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. She has experience negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and advises on issues relating to the use of technology, open source software, software licensing, data protection, confidential information, copyright, and trade marks. Allegra represents clients across diverse industries including emerging technologies, AI, software, luxury brands, and e-commerce.


Negotiating a software licence agreement relating to business critical software for a loans management company.

Advising a service provider on the negotiation of a service agreement relating to the development and licensing of mobile applications for ten theme parks.

Drafting a COVID testing service agreement relating to the provision of testing services and associated technology for hospitals and clinics.

Advising a solutions provider on the negotiation of an e-commerce solutions agreement relating to the development, launch and management of a global fashion house’s online channels in China, including its brand site and WeChat platform.
