Tom Phillips, Brown Rudnick Partner and Chair of its Real Estate Practice Group, will moderate a panel on “Capital Markets 2021: Navigating the New Normal and Identifying the Opportunities” hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Tom will be joined by a panel of commercial real estate industry participants. The speakers will discuss how the capital markets for retail real estate have shown resilience in the wake of the pandemic and what may be in store for the future. The event takes place virtually on April 27th from 12:00 – 1:15 pm ET.

Tom has been practicing commercial real estate and land use law for over 30 years. He has counseled owners, developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and investors in a variety of property acquisitions and sales, development and permitting projects, leases, debt and equity financings, workouts/restructurings, and other sophisticated real estate transactions. Tom has particular experience in retail, hospitality and mixed-use assets. He currently serves as the Chair of the ICSC Legal Advisory Council and is a past ICSC State Director.
