Robert Stark, Partner and Practice Group Leader of Brown Rudnick’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Practice Group, and Uchechi Egeonuigwe, a lawyer in the Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Practice Group, held a “Fireside Chat: Day In the Life” event hosted by the Boston Lawyers Group (BLG). The July 8th gathering was part of BLG’s Summer Series of virtual presentations for BLG’s annual internship program.

In addition, Robert and Uchechi stressed the importance of mentorship and the value of networking. Robert focuses his practice on complex corporate restructuring, including in-court Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts. Uchechi represents creditor groups, investors, equity holders, and individual borrowers in all aspects of restructuring stressed and distressed companies.

BLG’s mission is to collaborate to advance diversity in law by supporting the careers of law students and lawyers of color. BLG supports the efforts of its member organizations to identify, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color.
