We look for candidates who not only have strong academics but who also possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as common sense and drive. Candidates will need to be ambitious, intellectually curious and have a genuine interest in our practice areas. Candidates will need to have completed, or be in the process of completing, the Legal Practice Course. You should also have a 2.1 or above in any degree discipline (or equivalent) – subject to any extenuating circumstances.


The following is a brief overview of some of the employee benefits offered to London office trainees and newly qualified solicitors by Brown Rudnick:

Trainees will receive a starting salary of £40,000 rising to £45,000 in their second year (this is reviewed annually). Newly qualified solicitors receive a starting salary currently of £107,000.
