Women in Business Hour
Brown Rudnick’s Women in Business Hour has been launched to help women entrepreneurs and directors manage the growth opportunities and challenges that they face, especially during these unprecedented times.
Whether it’s fundraising for series A and beyond, making an acquisition, entering a new market or protecting your IP, you* can book time to discuss your legal issues and questions with a member of our legal team on a strictly confidential basis at no cost.
Please note that participation in this discussion will not establish a lawyer-client relationship with you, nor constitute legal advice, and that your conversations with us might not be subject to the lawyer-client privilege or other confidentiality protections. Further, neither you nor any of your affiliates is entitled to rely on our discussion as constituting legal or other advice. It should further be noted that Brown Rudnick may decline to answer a question or to participate in a discussion for reasons of conflicts of interest or otherwise.
*To be eligible, you must meet both of the following criteria:
- You must be seeking to raise £500,000 or above in the next six months; and
- You must have raised at least £500,000 in the last 18 months.
We intend to create a community which benefits everyone. If you don’t meet the criteria yet, you are welcome to submit a question to us anonymously here and we will publish the response on our Women in Business Hour Blog. You can also participate in our Women in Business Hour events by signing up here.

"We need to provide female founders better access to capital and support with their fundraising process. Fundraising is hard, and there are many obstacles on the way. The more we can help female founders on this path, the more diverse and successful companies we will be seeing. Such a great initiative Brown Rudnick team!"
Co-Founder of Sie Ventures
“Access to finance and mentoring are two of the main barriers for women entrepreneurs. Any initiative which encourages women to step forward and take control is to be welcomed. Well done!“

"With both Global VC funding and dollar amounts dropping to female founded companies we desperately need programs like this one from Brown Rudnick. Support today with financing and legals is severely lacking and we need to make a change!"
