Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring


Rosa Sierra is an associate in Brown Rudnick's Boston office, where she practices in the firm's Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Group.

Prior to Brown Rudnick, Rosa was a law clerk to the Honorable A. Benjamin Goldgar in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois. In that capacity, Rosa gained broad experience preparing daily Chapter 7, 11, and 13 motion calls by researching, analyzing, and summarizing motions regarding 363 sales, 9019 settlements, and retention of professionals. She has also researched and written memoranda and trial briefs concerning a debtor-in-possession's use of cash collateral, relief from stay, valuation of collateral, bifurcation of secured claims, and discovery disputes. Highlights of her experience include analyzing issues in a major Chapter 11 megacase.

While at Boston University School of Law, Rosa won the Best Team and Best Brief awards for the 2014 Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition. She also served as an Article Editor for the International Law Journal.
