Max Binney is an associate in the International Corporate Group.

He has particular experience in equity capital markets, working on IPOs on the AIM and Main Markets of the London Stock Exchange. He has worked with companies, sponsors, nominated advisers, brokers and institutional investors. He has represented domestic and international companies – including those incorporated and/or operating in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe and the USA – looking to enter the UK capital markets. He has worked on dual listings, project-managing transactions across multiple jurisdictions, advising clients and guiding them through the increasingly complex legislation of ECM transactions.

Max also has experience in drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and putting in place various transaction-specific corporate structures. He has acted for both buyers and sellers in the sale and purchase of companies and businesses as well as property SPVs. He also has experience on venture capital investments.


Acted for Taseko Mines, the North American focused copper producer and developer, for the admission of its shares to trading on the standard segment of the Main Market.

Acted for TSX-listed Valeura Energy on its dual listing on the standard segment of the Main Market.

Acted for MOD Resources, an ASX-listed copper exploration firm, on its standard direct dual-listing to the Main Market.

Acted for the buyer of a large commercial property in central London for £90 million.

Acted for AIM-listed Gaming Realms on the sale of its B2C focused subsidiary Bear Group to River iGaming and the disposal of other assets.

Acted for RSK Group, a leading environmental and engineering services company, in connection with the acquisition of a number of companies.
