Marie J. Fong Sing is an associate in Brown Rudnick's Corporate group and advises on national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Marie was an associate in the London office of Clyde & Co LLP in their Corporate Department. She was part of the core team working on the corporate, rail and port infrastructure aspects of Simandou-South, a £20 billion deal advising the Guinean government in Paris and Africa.

Marie is fluent in French and has obtained a "Maitrise" in French law at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.


Advising Arix Bioscience Limited on a group re-organisation and a subsequent private placing of around £52.05 million in equity funding.

Advising Advent Life Sciences LLP, Advent Life Sciences Fund I L.P. and NOVO A/S on their investment in NeRRe Therapeutics.

Advising Guinean Government on the USD 20 billion Simandou South iron ore mining project, one of the largest integrated iron ore mine and infrastructure project in Africa, on the construction of a 700 km railway and development of a deep water port to the south of Conakry.

Advising on share purchase transactions and private placements for a company which engages in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas primarily in the African region. This included drafting deed of variation for subscription agreements and reviewing Production-Sharing Contracts.

Advising Gama Aviation PLC on re-organisation of a group of companies and on reverse take-over.

Advising on the creation of a platform to facilitate pension fund investment in the UK in the form of a limited partnership.

Advising Petit Bateau on the implementation of loyalty programme, termination of franchise agreements and general commercial advice.
