Lucy Hartland is an Associate in the Special Situations & Debt Trading, and Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring practice groups.

Lucy was Trainee Solicitor at Brown Rudnick before she joined as an Associate in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Lucy worked for an Oil and Gas contractor assisting in the tendering process for and negotiation of high value oil and gas construction contracts in Europe.


Real Estate Finance / SS&T

Acted for Queensgate Investments on its c. £1bn acquisition of four central London hotels from the Grange Hotels group and leasing to the Fattal Group.

Acted for Queensgate Investments on its sale of London Executive Offices, a serviced office business, to a family office for £475m.


Represented a West African Government (Ministry of Finance) and a wholly owned national airline company in connection with debt restructuring and operational restructuring, with a view to future privatization/recapitalization.
