Biography
Ken Asher is experienced in drafting wills and trusts, including without limitation, insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and other irrevocable trusts designed to minimize estate taxes. He counsels clients on estate and gift taxes as well as the transfer of assets among family members and inter-generational planning for family businesses. He handles the administration and financial planning of estates and trusts and counsels clients on the creation and administration of public charities and private foundations.
Ken is also experienced in individual and corporate tax matters and represents many small and midsize companies in their corporate activities. He advises senior executives in creating executive compensation packages, including employment agreements, severance agreements and employee benefits packages.
