Biography

Karla Cortes is a staff attorney supporting the Firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group with discovery activities, including document analysis, review, and productions.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Karla was a project attorney with the litigation technology group at a major global law firm, where she assisted clients in the process of obtaining anti-trust approvals for mergers and acquisitions in the Telecom, National Security & Transportation industries. Prior to that she was a staff attorney with the white-collar defense and government investigations group at another major international law firm, where she represented a U.S. financial institution with operations in Latin America under investigation by the U.S. government for alleged money laundering activities.
