Finance
Jonathan Nye is an Associate in the Firm's Finance Practice Group.
Jonathan's practice focuses on the representation of borrowers, financial institutions and other lenders in a broad range of corporate finance and restructuring transactions, including real estate financings, cash flow and asset-based loans, mezzanine financings, and acquisition financings.
He also has substantial experience representing holders of distressed debt in loan workouts, real estate and asset foreclosures, forbearance arrangements, note sales, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and debt enforcement litigation.
Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Jonathan was an associate at a national law firm.
Representation
Represented an international investment company in connection with the acquisition and mortgage and mezzanine financing of four hotels located in Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, and Chicago, three of which were subject to historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions.
Represented a specialty finance company in the sale of a $210 million structured loan portfolio.
Represented a real estate investment company in connection with mortgage loan and bridge loan financing transactions totaling over $195 million.
Represented an international hotel company in connection with a joint venture acquisition and financing of a hotel in Texas.
Represented regional and national lenders in connection with commercial real estate lending transactions, including construction, acquisition, and/or refinance loans.
Represented a national mortgage lender in non-performing mortgage loan workouts.
Represented an investment fund in connection with the workout and liquidation of portfolios of non-performing and/or distressed mortgage loans.
