International Disputes


Hui Ying Chee is an associate in Brown Rudnick's London office, where her practice focuses on assisting clients involved in international disputes and litigation.

Hui has broad experience drafting pre-action correspondence, conducting witness interviews and drafting witness statements and drafting substantive responses to regulator RFIs. Highlights of her experience include acting for a large global bank in High Court litigation relating to bank payroll tax and for a global spirits manufacturer in an HMRC enquiry relating to transfer pricing and diverted profits tax. Additionally, she served for a multinational electric utility company in Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal proceedings relating to the application of loan relationship rules to the transfer of bankruptcy claims to a foreign subsidiary.

Prior to Brown Rudnick, Hui was an associate at another international law firm.
