Intellectual Property
Christina Segro is an associate in the Brown Rudnick’s Intellectual Property Group, practicing in the firm’s New York office. Her areas of focus include the prosecution of life sciences patent applications; reports on patentability, infringement, and validity; advising on regulatory matters; and strategizing, drafting, and negotiating agreements and licenses.
Christina was most recently the General Counsel at Celmatix Inc., a personalized medicine company, where she counseled executives on a variety of business-related and intellectual property matters during a period of rapid corporate growth in a highly regulated environment. Christina was also previously Associate IP Counsel at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC, where she advised on the intellectual property portfolio and related agreements.
Christina is a registered patent agent with the USPTO and a member of women in bio (WIB) an organization of professionals committed to promoting careers, leadership, and entrepreneurship for women in the life sciences and a steering committee member of WIB’s initiative to advance gender diversity at the executive and board level, Executive Women in Bio.
