Commercial Litigation


Alex Fraser is an associate in Brown Rudnick’s Litigation Group. Alex represents companies and individuals in a broad range of commercial disputes in both federal and state courts as well as before arbitration panels and mediators. Alex also has litigation and counseling experience in labor and employment matters, with a primary focus on wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and related matters. Alex also advises employers regarding employee handbooks, employment policies, and pay practices.

Alex’s experience includes trials and appeals in state and federal courts, the American Arbitration Association, and the representation of creditor committees in bankruptcy courts and litigating adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court. He has experience in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and mediation and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Alex was a law clerk for the Honorable Beth P. Gesner in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. During his time there, he performed legal research, case management, and drafted opinions and orders for the Judge in her pending cases.
