Brown Rudnick LLP advised GCP Applied Technologies Inc., a construction technology company, in the $125 million sale of its Cambridge, Massachusetts, headquarters to life science real estate company, IQHQ Inc. The 27 acre property located in northern Cambridge includes close to 290,000 square feet of office, laboratory and research and development space.

The deal, which was finalized last week, allows GCP an 18-month, rent-free leaseback for the site while it makes relocation plans for a new headquarters.

The team at Brown Rudnick consists of partners Tom Phillips, Greg Sampson and Kyle Johnson, director Colleen McGlynn and associates Justin Masterman, Matt Kinell, and Adamantia Giannakis.
