Advising Russian family office in connection with numerous investment transactions and business interests including: Corporate and commercial matters in connection with an international shipping business controlled by the family, establishment of $100 million hedge fund, Equity and debt investments in Australian mining assets, Redevelopment of major real estate assets in the UK and Russia, Various matters in connection with the family's interests in a multi-billion dollar publicly listed commodities business.

Acting for a private equity and venture capital firm in relation to two separate sets of BVI Court Proceedings, both of which relate to the carving up of a US $1 billion+ fund involving politically high-profile Russian and CIS individuals.

Acting for potential claimants against a high-profile institution in the banking sector and a third-party index provider. The dispute concerns the structuring of a €120 million investment made by the client in 2011 and the losses suffered thereunder.

Acting for a Russian high net worth individual in connection with investments made in a Cypriot subsidiary of a Russian bank on the basis of representations and assurances as to the security of the investments by officers and beneficial owners of the Cypriot entity and the Russian bank.
