Peter Willsey, partner in Brown Rudnick’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and the Global Chair of the firm’s Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice Group, will be participating as a panelist in the Georgetown Law Technology Review (GLTR) and Georgetown Law's Sports, Entertainment, and Media Society’s (GEMALaw) webinar, “IP Careers in Entertainment.” The event will be held from 6-7pm ET on Thursday, November 5th.

Peter will be discussing his experience in trademark and advertising litigation, and how students might find ways to pursue similar career paths. Co-panelists include Timothy Lee, patent attorney for the Walt Disney Company, and Kirk Sigmon, patent attorney at Banner Witcoff. The event will be attended by members of GLTR and GEMALaw, as well as students at Georgetown Law School.

Peter’s practice focuses on the selection of company and product names, the development of comprehensive trademark and branding strategies and formulating strategic approaches for the licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
