Brown Rudnick is proud to announce the next in our series of events celebrating inspirational and thought-provoking speakers, who will share their professional experiences and achievements. In order to comply with Government advice, this event will take place via a Webex meeting.

For our next event we will be joined by Deborah Meaden.

From a very early age Deborah knew she wanted her own business. Having left school after O-Levels she studied at business college and at the age of 19, with very little capital, she launched her own glass and ceramics import company supplying upmarket stores like Harvey Nichols. Since then, Deborah has embarked on a number of other highly successful business ventures. Deborah joined the panel of investors for series three of the BBC2 programme 'Dragon's Den' and has since invested in over 40 businesses.

In this session, Deborah will explore the values she applies when investing in businesses and mentoring individuals, as well as the impact the current environment is expected to have on accelerating change in business practices going forward.

Joining Deborah at the event will be Beth Chilton and Sarah Sleightholm, founders of Hope & Ivy, one of the businesses that Deborah has successfully invested in through Dragon's Den.

This Women in Business event is open to everyone interested in attending, as the discussion will be applicable to both men and women alike.
